Sprinkler Designer

Job DescriptionA Sprinkler Designer to design and create sprinkler systems using plans, drawings, and drafting skills.Required:Bachelor's NICET certification - Level I or higher in Design Layout - Preferred2+ years' experience in commercial and/or industrial fire sprinkler designKnowledge of AutoCAD, AutoSprink, HydraCAD or other specialized fire sprinkler layout softwarePrior experience using Revit preferredAbility to work in a timely manner and meet deadlinesMust be detail orientedAbility to communicate properly and professionally, both verbally and by documentationAbility to coordinate and work well with othersJob Responsibilities:Review contract documents and coordinate with subs and GC/owner to gather information requiredDetermine construction feasibility and system possibilitiesCreate system designs using specialized fire sprinkler layout softwareEstimate/list material needed for projectPerform hydraulic calculationsDevelop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their needs and expectations are being metCoordinate with other depts. as neededPerform project management functions as requiredComplete and/or assist with other assigned responsibilities as directed by branch managerSalary Range: $80k/yr. - $100k/yr.
