Job Description Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunities AvailableMaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.This role is well-suited for CNAs who value one-on-one care, enjoy working independently, and want flexible scheduling with support from a responsive care team.Why Join Our Team?Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience, certification, and availabilityCompensation Growth: Pay increases available based on performance and additional certificationsScheduling: Full-time and part-time opportunities available(Day, evening, weekend, and overnight if applicable)Flexible scheduling optionsOngoing clinical and supervisory supportOpportunities for advancement (CRMA, CNA-M, LPN, Nursing pathways)Mileage reimbursement when applicableSupportive administrative staff available for guidance and problem-solvingJob Description / DutiesCertified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide direct care and basic health support services in accordance with each client's approved care plan and MaineTouch standards.Key responsibilities include:Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygieneProviding mobility assistance, including transfers, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devicesMeasuring and documenting vital signs and basic health observations as directedSupporting daily care tasks, such as light housekeeping related to care, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparationAssisting with meal service and feeding when neededOffering companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independenceMonitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staffIdentifying and reporting safety risks or environmental concernsPerforming only tasks within the CNA scope of practice and listed in the care planCompleting required documentation accurately and on scheduleFollowing infection control, safety procedures, and universal precautionsMaintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all timesResponding appropriately to emergency situations and reporting incidents immediatelyTreating all clients with respect, dignity, and professionalismMaintaining dependable attendance and adhering to assigned schedulesComplying with all MaineTouch policies and procedures and participating in required trainingWho This Position Is Ideal ForThis role may be a good fit if you:Hold an active Maine CNA licensePrefer working one-on-one with clientsAre comfortable working independently in home settingsAre dependable, attentive, and professionalWant flexible scheduling optionsAre looking for meaningful, hands-on caregiving workQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or GED requiredActive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maine (required)Must not appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findingsPhysical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasksStrong communication and documentation skillsAccess to a working cell phoneReliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)Must be eligible to work in the United StatesHow to ApplyApply today to begin the hiring process.
