The ideal candidate will be skilled in emergency nursing practices, patient assessment, and critical care interventions.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationAdminister medications and monitor patient responses effectivelyMaintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentationPerform ongoing patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social needsDevelop and communicate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teamsServe as a resource and mentor for staff, including assuming charge nurse responsibilities when requiredUtilize computerized nursing informatics systems efficientlyParticipate in staff meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policiesProvide education and support to patients and familiesMaintain professional development and stay current with clinical practicesQualificationsGraduate of an accredited School of NursingMinimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experienceAt least 1 year of ER travel experienceActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in MassachusettsBLS and ACLS certifications (required)Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia examsStrong communication and clinical skillsExperience with IV administration, ventilators, and telemetry monitoringPreferred CertificationsTNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)De-escalation training certificationFor more details contact at mdeshpande@navitashealth.com
