Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator

8+ years of hands-on Database Administration experience in enterprise environments. • Strong SQL Server administration expertise, including deep knowledge of T-SQL and performance tuning. • Experience with MySQL administration and support. • Proven success leading or heavily contributing to on-premises to cloud migration initiatives. • Ability to make technical recommendations and influence database strategy rather than simply execute assigned tasks. • Experience supporting high-availability environments, including clustering, replication, and other HA/DR technologies. • Hands-on experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). • Experience managing transactional jobs, ETL processes, database deployments, and change management activities. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and effectively operate in an evolving environment. • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Azure and/or AWS database platforms. • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments. • Exposure to additional database technologies such as PostgreSQL or Couchbase. • Experience implementing automation, monitoring, and database operational best practices.
