CEI Associate Resident Compliance Specialist
We’re looking for a CEI Associate Resident Compliance Specialist who cares about fairness, accuracy, and strong partnerships. In this role, you’ll help ensure construction projects comply with federal and state labor and civil rights requirements, while building positive working relationships with contractors and internal teams. If you enjoy detailed work, clear communication, and contributing to equitable outcomes in public infrastructure projects, this role offers a meaningful way to make an impact.
What You’ll Do
This position will work and train directly under the supervision of a Resident Compliance Specialist.
Participate in preconstruction meetings to educate contractors on compliance requirements
Review Daily Work Reports to assess contractor activity and compliance status
Verify certified payrolls for accuracy, classification, wage rates, and timeliness
Review field interviews and reconcile them with payroll records
Issue and track noncompliance notices and follow up to support resolution
Maintain organized records for payroll, labor interviews, and compliance documentation
Support the On-the-Job Training program, including document review and on-site trainee interviews
Review Monthly Time Reports and report discrepancies as needed
Collaborate with the District Contract Compliance Manager and project teams
Travel to project sites as required
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
2 years of administrative experience
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with certified payrolls and labor compliance documentation
Familiarity with federal and state labor regulations related to construction projects
Strong organizational and communication skills
