Software EngineerThe Software Engineer position will be responsible for handson development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce. SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multiplatform roadmap. Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.Areas of responsibility include:Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standardsDrives technical vision and influences product roadmap and visionImplement largescale, complex, crossfunctional projectsLeads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level designSupervise the work of crossfunctional groups of engineers, including offshore associatesDirects root cause analysis of critical business and production issuesDocuments testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvementsInfluence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactivelySupports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being metMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems7+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies such as Java, Python, Airflow, Kafka4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical modeAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science or related disciplineWhat are the top 3 skills needed/ required?JavaKafkaPythonWhat makes a candidate profile stand out to you?JavaKafkaPythonExperience with a large organization, Independent worker and good communication skills.What will this person's daytoday responsibilities be?Developing, Testing, deploying Java services.What is the project this person will be working on?
