Job DescriptionGpac is working with a long-standing Ag equipment company that has been in business for over 40+ years and is still going strong and is looking for an Ag Equipment Technician! This company is a small family-friendly business that truly does focus on a strong work life balance atmosphere. Their focus is to solve the customers' problems quickly and correctly, every time. The Technicians are the core part of the company and perform diagnostics, service repairs, and perform maintenance work on all customer and/or dealer owned equipment.Job Expectations:Diagnose, repair, or recondition Ag equipment and componentsCompletes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignmentsOversee and help younger technicians that are still learningPerform routine inspections of equipmentOther duties as assignedAg Equipment Technician Qualifications:Technical school training or equivalent work experienceHeavy or Ag equipment work experience preferredThe right tech would need their own tools (shops provide specialty tools)Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics and electricalAble to work as a team member (this is a big one)Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug testBenefits:Competitive hourly rate50% of single Health plan paid for, dental, and vision insurance401k matchOpportunities to grow into the service management role If they farm, they came use equipment off the lot free of chargeThis is a smaller location with only 3 full-time technicians staffed, very family-friendly work environment but also job-focused during the peak season. Once the right person gains experience it would because a shop/field Technician role and from there they could grow into the service manager for this location.
