Warehouse Material Handler

*Location:* Devens, MA *Address:* Devens, MA 01434 *Job Type:* Contract *Pay Rate: *$20.00 – $22.00/hour *Shift Options* *1st Shift –* Monday – Thursday | 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM *2nd Shift –* Monday – Thursday | 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM *3rd Shift –* Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM *Position Summary* We are seeking Warehouse Material Handlers to support the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout an industrial warehouse environment. This position is responsible for receiving, picking, transporting, organizing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory and following all safety procedures. Entry-level warehouse experience is welcome! Training will be provided during a 2–3 day orientation before transitioning to the production floor. *Key Responsibilities* * Unload trucks, trailers, and containers and verify incoming shipments. * Inspect products for damage, shortages, or incorrect shipments. * Pick orders accurately by product number, quantity, lot, batch, or serial number. * Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment. * Label, tag, mark, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize materials as required. * Prepare and verify outbound shipments for accuracy. * Load products, cartons, and pallets into trailers and containers. * Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. * Repack or consolidate damaged products as needed. * Operate shrink-wrap equipment. * Maintain material-handling equipment in a clean and safe condition. * Follow company safety standards and OSHA requirements. * Keep warehouse areas, docks, bays, trailers, and work areas clean and organized. * Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or material-handling experience preferred. * Entry-level candidates with warehouse experience are encouraged to apply. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Strong attention to safety and detail. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. * Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing tasks. * High School Diploma/GED preferred. *Preferred Skills* * Forklift experience or certification * Pallet jack experience * Shrink-wrap machine operation * Shipping and receiving * Order picking * Inventory and cycle counting * RF scanner/Warehouse Management System experience * Experience with warehouse equipment * SAP or other inventory systems * HAZMAT certification *Physical Requirements* * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. * Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday. * Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. * Ability to work around moving machinery and loud industrial environments. * May require working at heights and exposure to varying temperatures, dust, fumes, or gases. * Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and feet. *Work Environment* This position is based in an industrial warehouse environment and may involve operating material-handling equipment and working around moving machinery.
