As a Quality Control Technician, you are responsible for ensuring product quality for work in process, finished products, and raw materials by following established methods and procedures. This opening is in our liquid coatings facility located in Liberty, Indiana. You will:Conduct quality inspections and audits on the liquid coatings produced at our facility to ensure compliance with company and customer standardsPerform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvementOperates lab equipment required to perform job functions. (Color spectrophotometers, scales, air mixers, spray guns, gloss meter, DFT gauge, light booth, etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processesCollect and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance recordsYour Experience & SkillsMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a quality technician or color matching roleStrong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practicesProficiency in using precision measuring instruments and conducting quality inspectionsExperience with data collection and analysis for quality management purposesExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations from specificationsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Our CompanyFor more than 45 years, the Protech Group has been developing and manufacturing coatings, paints, and specialty materials.
