*Job Summary* *Quality Control - Cary, IL* $18-$20 Training from 6am-2:30pm *Duties* * Perform inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to specifications. * Perform *bond testing* on laminated structures. * Conduct incoming raw material testing, including *Dyne, KCoF, and visual inspections* as required. * Perform *coat weight testing* for lamination and coating processes based on customer and company specifications. * Administer and verify roll stock labels for laminate/coating materials that have passed required testing. * Verify label and product information for accuracy during production start-up and new jobs. * Monitor the lamination/coating process during production and identify potential quality issues. * Assist with *Pre-Run Verifications, Set-Up Checks, and First Piece Records*. * Perform production *Gemba Walks* to verify packaging, labeling, documentation, and Good Documentation Practices. * Communicate quality concerns to the Machine Operator, Set-Up Technician, or Supervisor when inspection results are outside acceptable limits. * Accurately and legibly document inspection results on forms, samples, charts, and quality records. * Maintain inspection data, quality records, and documentation for special quality studies. * Ensure products meet specifications before being released for production or shipment. * Reject and identify products, materials, or equipment that do not meet specifications. * Handle nonconforming materials and products according to established procedures. * Assist with reducing rework and processing time by identifying and communicating quality issues quickly. * Perform basic data entry and reporting using *Microsoft Excel, SPC, and FMP*. * Use *Microsoft Outlook* for email communication and quality-related correspondence. * Follow all procedures established by the company's *Quality Management System (QMS)* and *ISO 13485* standards. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Assist in training team members on quality standards, inspection procedures, and proper use of measurement equipment. *Qualifications* * 2- 4 years of experience * computer literacy. * *Ability to accurately measure and interpret measurements to a 1/32nd of an inch using a standard ruler.* * Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to accurately read customer specifications and figure footage required for jobs. * Ability to effectively operate department machines and equipment.
