Full Stack Software Engineer (Python/AWS)

*About the Role* Sky Bridge Financial is a fast-paced financial startup looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help drive our software development and cloud architecture. You will play a critical role in building scalable applications, optimizing our data pipelines, and fortifying our security posture as we scale. *Key Responsibilities*

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python for the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue/Angular) for the frontend.
• Develop and manage serverless architectures and microservices using AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, and Systems Manager).
• Optimize database performance, including migrating complex SQL views to standard flat tables to accelerate daily data refreshes.
• Build secure, robust APIs and integrate with enterprise data platforms like Snowflake.
• Develop custom scripts, manage concurrent record updates, and build integrations for third-party platforms, including Zoho CRM.
• Champion code quality through automated CI/CD deployment pipelines and comprehensive QA automation.
• Implement and manage resource-based policies to restrict public invocation and secure infrastructure.
• Collaborate in Agile sprints using JIRA to hit key technical objectives, including contributing to our roadmap for full SOC readiness and sandbox environment setups.

*Requirements:*

• *Minimum 5+ years of overall experience* in software engineering or a related field.
• *Bachelor’s or Master’s degree* in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Python backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure (specifically Lambda concurrency, S3, and ECS).
• Solid proficiency in SQL and experience optimizing database queries and structures.
• Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, especially within financial or heavily regulated environments.
• Must be able to work from the Scottsdale, AZ office 3 days a week.

*Bonus Qualifications*

• Prior experience with Snowflake audit logs and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Zoho CRM and Deluge scripting.
• Experience building technical environments for SOC compliance.
