A company is looking for a Remote z/OS Systems Programmer with strong GDPS experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design and configure DS8K storage, including Metro Mirror and Global Mirror replication
Perform updates to PARMLIB and PROCLIB, and support compliance for new LPARs
Deliver GDPS training and knowledge transfer to engineering and operations teams
Required Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience with IBM Z, GDPS, and DS8K storage
Strong knowledge of NetView, System Automation (z/SA), and REXX
Experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements
Proven ability to lead technical discussions and training sessions
Able to engage professionally with clients and navigate complex environments
