Mechanical Engineer
*JOB DESCRIPTION*
We are currently looking for an *Mechanical Engineer* to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold competent knowledge to oversee all mechanical engineering services on projects from start to finish. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.
*Education:*
· Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering
*Professional Registration:*
* Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan or able to obtain
* Willing to become registered in other states
*Technical Skills:*
* Must be capable of handling all aspects of mechanical engineering related to the building industry including the following:
* HVAC Design
* Plumbing Design
* Fire Protection Performance Specifications
* AutoCad/Revit Experience
*Responsibilities:*
* Engineer is responsible for all mechanical engineering services on projects from start to finish.
* Research and analyze design options.
* Preparation and review of HVAC and Plumbing construction documents.
* Develop and edit project specifications as required.
* Review product shop drawings/submittals related to the HVAC and Plumbing design.
* Review and respond to requests of information (RFIs).
* Must be capable of managing and leading support staff such as drafting and mechanical designers.
* Ability to communicate with clients, project owners and contractors in a professional manner is a must.
* Will be required to establish budgets, develop engineering services proposals and maintain/develop client relationships.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
