We're seeking an energetic and mission-driven professional to join our faculty and lead aspiring aviation technicians with engaging instruction, real-world insights, and unwavering support.What You'll DoDeliver dynamic, hands-on instruction in aircraft maintenance that bridges theory and practice.Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment where students are empowered to succeed.Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic leaders to continuously improve our FAA-aligned curriculum.Keep the lab organized, safe, and stocked with properly maintained tools and equipment.Manage key administrative dutiesthink grading, attendance tracking, and regulatory compliancewith precision and professionalism.Mentor students, track progress, and proactively address retention issues.Participate in ongoing professional development and instructor evaluations.Support our mission by attending faculty meetings, leading training sessions, and completing education modules.What You BringRequired Qualifications:FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenanceHigh School Diploma or GEDStrong grasp of contemporary aircraft systems and repair practicesEffective communication skills with a student-first mindsetOrganized, tech-savvy, and ready to adapt in a compliance-driven environmentFlexibility to work outside scheduled hours as neededPreferred:Associate degree in a related fieldExperience with CampusNexus or similar student management systemsWhy Teach at AIM?At AIM, you'll find more than a jobyou'll find a community.
