Responsible for oversight of preconstruction estimating, development of bids and estimates. Must possess a thorough understanding of real time costing information relative to the commercial construction market, as well as relationships with local trade partners. Responsibilities include: - Quantity Take-Offs - Estimate Development - Preconstruction Coordination - Project Fact Finding - Early Assessment of Means and Methods - Unit Costing - Profit/Loss Analysis - Historical Database Development & Maintenance - Preconstruction Hand-Offs - Plan Reading and Scope Assessment - Subcontractor Coordination Candidate shall possess strong construction knowledge and plan reading abilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has good written/oral communication skills, and has a strong work ethic. Our Estimators set an early tone for our projects. Requires thorough understanding of construction techniques and application to apply real world input into estimates. The position requires skill, knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with a multitude of project stakeholders.
