The SQL Developer will design, develop, and optimize database structures and queries to support business applications and reporting needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining ETL processes, implementing data models, and ensuring data integrity and performance across systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translating them into effective database solutions, and troubleshooting data-related issues. The SQL Developer will also contribute to documentation, follow best practices for security and compliance, and support continuous improvement of data workflows and standards.Qualifications Strong database development skills, including SQL programming and performance optimization.Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools, and familiarity with data integration best practices.Proficiency in database design and data modeling, including schema design and normalization.Solid analytical skills for interpreting data, diagnosing issues, and supporting data-driven decision-making.Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) or similar platforms.Understanding of data security, access control, and compliance considerations in database environments.Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage priorities, and collaborate with distributed teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Exposure to business intelligence/reporting tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
