Head Competitive Dance Coach (Part-Time)

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate respect for the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university.Demonstrate the ability to relate effectively to student-athletes, coaches, staff, administration and the University community.Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement.Assumption of all coaching responsibilities related to the sport of dance.Assumption of all administrative responsibilities related to the sport of dance, including purchase and maintenance of all equipment and coordination of food, lodging and transportation needs.Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.Development and enforcement of team rules.Planning, development and conducting of all in-season and off-season practices and conditioning sessions.Ensure that proper safety guidelines and standards are maintained.Coordinate all strategy related to the sport of dance.Responsible for all aspects of recruitment in accordance with university and NAIA rules, including meeting recruiting goals.
