TitleGMP Training ManagerJob DescriptionNOW HIRING: GMP Training ManagerCompensation: $80,000-$85,000 per yearJob OverviewThe GMP Training Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of cGMP training programs for manufacturing employees. The individual will work in conjunction with Operations leadership to identify needs and ensure that team members' skill levels appropriately meet business needs.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this Job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Conduct training needs analysis to identify knowledge and procedural gaps within the manufacturing processCreate and oversee on-the-job training criteria through the development of train-the-trainer programsRoutinely deliver various cGMP training sessions for new and existing employees, focusing on specific SOPs, equipment, change controls, documentation, and health and safety-related topicsManage and maintain training content and records following internal and external regulationsIn conjunction with HR and EHS, ensure the effectiveness of new hire onboarding activitiesImplement a formalized skill matrix to promote growth and developmentIssues reports on the status of training initiativesTrack new hire training progress and ensure completionEvaluate the effectiveness of all training initiatives and implement changes as necessary to ensure quality and safety guidelines are included appropriately within training contentEnsure quality and safety guidelines are included appropriately within training contentProvide support in regulatory and customer audits related to training documentationContribute to the development and reviewing of SOPs, Technical Manuals, and safety proceduresDeliver various cGMP training sessions for new and existing employees, focusing on specific SOPs, equipment, change controls, documentation, and health and safety-related topicsManage and maintain training content and records following internal and external regulationsQualificationTo perform this Job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.Education And/ Or ExperienceBachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, or equivalent 5+ years GMP training experience in the pharmaceutical industry5-7 years experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical, GMP, or FDA regulated environment, preferably in a training or leadership capacityExperience in training to those who may not be familiar with cGMP conceptsExperience with the preparation and delivery of training materialsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMay be required to have a valid driver’s license.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesBilingual preferredAbility to ensure full training and safety complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to analyze gaps and implement corrective actionsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and influence operational leadersKnowledge of adult learning principles and training delivery best practicesKnowledge of safety, compliance, and contractual reporting requirementsFamiliarity with operational workflows in shift-based environmentsExperience with training tracking, documentation control, and audit readinessStrong written communication and reporting skillsAbility to maintain organization and time management with strict deadline adherenceExperience with problem-solving and escalation managementSupervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
