Network Engineer

Apogee is seeking a Network Engineer for the Army’s Analytic Group (AAG) located in Fairfield, CA. This position may allow for a 2-3 days per week, work from home model for local candidates and fully remote for non-local candidates. Why work with us? What you will be doing: Lead team of network engineers supporting data center network operations Provide Tier 2 support Monitor and maintain network devices supporting over 50 projects with mission critical requirements Oversea network and equipment upgrades to include hardware, image upgrades and configuration changes Ensure thorough network documentation, including backup configurations and network diagrams Support Cisco VOIP/Call Manager Administration and Configuration Support Firewall Administration and Configuration Support SolarWinds Monitoring Administration and Configuration Support Cisco Routers Administration and Configuration Support Cisco ACS Administration and Configuration Support COMSEC Key management/KIV-7/SKL Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance Certifications: IAT level II such as Security+CE Education: High School Diploma Years of experience: 11 years relevant networking experience in: Experience in network engineering Experience with Cisco Technologies Experience with Firewall administration Experience with System monitoring Experience with COMSEC While this position currently allows for work from home or remote opportunities, the customer can determine this position to be full-time onsite. Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years networking experience, OR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years networking experience Benefits: Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,600 to$125,000 across the U.S. There is a different range applicable for specific work locations. Base pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education.
