The essential functions include: Provide coordination of clinical service delivery activities for a specific program or collection of services that have been organized to achieve specific service delivery objectives Oversee and provide clinical supervision to one or more individuals within the program unit(s) and is responsible for the unit's achievement of its objectives Maintain program productivity records and generates periodic reports regarding program activity Responsible for single point accountability for program/services productivity to meet budget and contract goals Interact with the community at large and with specific allied agencies, other programs, and funding sources in a manner that facilities and enhances the operation of the program and the Center as a whole Provide staff with weekly group supervision and consultation and resources regarding clients or other matters related to the delivery of services, as well as administrative and personnel matters Knowledgeable of the acts in accordance with all prevailing governmental laws and regulations regarding the provision of mental health services, including confidentiality and limits thereof, the reporting of child abuse/neglect, and related regulations Knowledgeable of and acts in accordance with Ethical and Professional Standards established by appropriate professional organizations, whether or not the individual is a member of any such organization Ensure that all clinical staff provides a specific amount of direct services with regard to prevailing workload standards and program goals Attend and participate in Family Center meetings, including staff, in-service, supervisory training seminars and COA related committees and task force groups as needed As a licensed psychotherapist, provide supervision to pre-licensed/waivered staff, in accordance with rules and regulations of the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners or the Board of Psychology Provide clinical and support staff with relevant training, supervision and feedback, which will allow staff to perform their specific tasks effectively Provide minimal direct services to participants of the program; maintaining client files in accordance with contract requirements Budgetary responsibility for the program including salaries, expenditures, and future projected needs Be available on-call to clinicians by phone, may be required to go out into the field Other duties as required EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES Doctoral or Master's degree in a mental health field from a nationally recognized accredited school or program offering a degree in mental health service delivery, or related health care field, plus at least three years of experience in an appropriate and relevant setting Licensed for 2 years required. If licensed in another state, must meet the prevailing requirements for licensure in California Familiarity with coordinated services and rehabilitative mental health services in California highly desirable 2 years post licensure relevant experience including staff supervision Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier TRAUMA INFORMED CARE (TIC) Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
