VP Finance / Controller - Private Equity Backed StartupBoston, Massachusetts, United StatesAbout The JobMission-driven, private equity backed start-up company is searching for an influential, top-performing, Controller to oversee accounting & FP&A responsibilities.The Controller will work with the CFO & CEO on strategic projects, will lead process improvements throughout the accounting & finance division and should be an entrepreneurial-minded individual who is excited by a highly diverse role, impactful role.This organization has completed a Series A funding round, has begun fundraising for Series B, and continues to grow organically and through acquisition.The Controller will oversee 3-4 people to start and will be pivotal in identifying and mentoring current and future talent. The ideal candidate is an extremely motivated, technically strong CPA, with prior experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
