Services Business of the plant.This role is responsible to provide a conduit between sales personnel and warehouse supervision, assist customers, both internal and external, with various concerns. Provide administrative support to warehouse production and distribution functions. Maintain hard copy and electronic files regarding production, shipping and material certifications.Job DescriptionKey Accountabilities:Act as liaison between Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse personnel to resolve issues and problemsSchedule basic transportation needs and communicates with truck drivers for standard shippingKeep knowledge of customer specific transportation requirements, SFC/P-copy processMaintain accurate system updates for all truck loads and ensure timely processing for designated commodities.Keep a thorough understanding of the work order process and deliver work orders to appropriate personnelPrepare professional emails, memorandums correspondence, reports, and ad hoc documentation to support daily operations.Handle a high-volume communication, clarity, accuracy and follow‑through.Participate, support, and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality and lean initiatives and requirementsComplete all job duties in a manner that does not put him/herself or other individuals in an unsafe situation and wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) when requiredAssist in any other duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or managerThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
