Japanese Language Instructor
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the HR L&D team as a Contingent Worker.

The primary responsibility of this role is to teach 1:1/group Japanese Language lessons to Woven by Toyota members living in our US/UK locations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Dojo Language program team based in Tokyo, Japan to organize lesson schedules, teach lessons, and provide feedback to students. Average student in the program is true beginner level, can expect most students to be starting from zero, or standard CEFR A1. Currently use standard textbooks in classes, such as “Japanese for Busy People” and “Marugoto”.
Details of responsibilities
Organize signup scheduling for students
Teach 1:1/group Japanese language lessons
Provide feedback to students for each lesson
Assess student progress
Any other tasks as assigned by the Dojo Language team
Remote, 30h/week maximum
Skillset Requirements
Native Japanese speaker
Experience teaching Japanese Language lessons to adults, in both Business and Casual contexts
Japanese Language teaching certificate or equivalent experience
Ability to work well on a team, provide opinions, and respect the opinions of others
Conversational English ability
