Job Title: Mainframe CICS System ProgrammerLocation: Chandler, AZ; Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Jersey City, NJWork Arrangement: HybridEmployment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS System Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, maintaining, upgrading, and tuning CICS Transaction Server environments across production, test, and disaster-recovery regions.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for administering, maintaining, upgrading, and tuning CICS Transaction Server environments across production, test, and disaster-recovery regions.Required QualificationsMandatory requirements include:Hands-on CICS Transaction Server administration on IBM z/OSCICS installation, upgrades, PTF application, and maintenanceConfiguration and support of CICS regionsKnowledge of DFHSIT and CICS system initialization parametersPerformance monitoring and troubleshootingAbility to analyze transaction response time, CPU utilization, and storage usageWillingness to work onsite three days per weekPreferred experience:Experience supporting production, test, and DR CICS environmentsExperience with OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMONCICS performance tuning and bottleneck eliminationWork Authorization Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Equal Employment Opportunity Themesoft Inc is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
