Responsibilities What you get to do every day: Designs, defines and maintains the DevSecOps architecture for new and existing software applications and systems. Has the ability to both write clean, working code and has commanding knoweldge of traditional operations tasks. Coordinates system development with software developers to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing. Manages and documents system configurations. Assists with deployment of new product features. Job Duties: Configure CI/CD for multiple web applicationsTake source code, dependencies to perform application buildsPerform automated testing and security scansDeploy to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations)Create and maintain multiple environments across multiple security enclaves (low to high development)Responsible for Infrastructure as Code and configurations managementAuthor helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShift platformsManage and document system security, by performing software updates in response to scan findings, document system architecture to demonstrate security compliance Qualifications Clearance Required: Active TS clearance (with SCI Eligibility) and eligibility to obtain CI Poly Education/Experience: Requires Bachelor's degree5-8+ years of experience Required Skills:Proficiency with Linux operating systemsAbility to manage networking for web applications by understanding PCP/IP and DNSFamiliarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift, with ideal knowledge of AWSExperience creating and modifying Helm charts and configuring deployments to multi-environments (e.g. dev, stage, prod) across multiple security domainsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (one or more of Terraform, Cloud formation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)Experience with Gitlab and Gitlab C/D pipelines (knowledge of Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar will be considered)Knowledge of containerization, monitoring & logging and network & securityExperience monitoring and updating tokensComfortable using Python and BASH to create systems toolingAbility to contribute code updates/tweaks to existing code repositoriesExperience with integrating security components with applications and databasesWhat is ideal?Experience with software system design, able to create application architecture for new applicationsFamiliarity with Configuration Management and Request for Change process for review and assessmentExperience with delivery of an integrated solution using Agile software delivery techniquesTechnical certification - Network+, Security+, Oracle or specializing in Software Development or Cloud ComputingExperience in System Engineering and project/program managementKnowledge and/or experience with NGA enterprise products (including NGA CORE tools; ie Wormhole)Intelligence Community Experience preferredWhat you can expect from usRecognizing great achievements do not go unnoticed by bcore through service anniversaries, spot awards, and employee referral bonusesYou'll join a growing organization of passionate, top-shelf, IT engineering professionals with extensive experience in actively developing the technology revolution in the Intelligence communityThe expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is:$138,000-$159,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
