Position Overview The Systems Integration and Validation Engineer focuses on developing, testing, and troubleshooting autonomy software systems for autonomous machines, emphasizing Planning, Perception, and Positioning technologies. This role is integral in validating onboard systems and supporting infrastructures that improve the development of sub-systems such as calibration, simulation, analytics, and machine learning development pipelines. Job Responsibilities Create and update test and development plans for autonomous haul truck testing. Execute testing and analyze test data. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues. Document and communicate issues found during testing. Write test reports and provide recommendations based on testing experiences. Education & Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience in test or development of control systems, vehicles, engines, or technologies such as autonomy. Specific Experience Experience in test planning, execution, and documentation. Troubleshooting complex systems in autonomous vehicles or similar technologies. Technical Skills Required Proficiency in Windows operating system. Troubleshooting complex systems. Technical Skills Desired Experience with Ubuntu or Linux operating systems. Ability to create test plans and documentation. Understanding of electrical schematics. Knowledge of autonomous systems such as perception, planning, or positioning. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication of technical information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
