Chief of Staff

We are looking for a Chief of Staff at a Series-A YC startup with 3-12 years of experience to act as a force multiplier for the founding team. This is a critical role for a low-ego, high-agency individual who can take on founder-level projects and solve complex problems with minimal direction.What will you be doing?Owning the internal recruiting process from end-to-end for 6-8 critical roles.Conducting deep data analysis using SQL to investigate metrics, understand root causes, and inform strategy.Leading high-priority operational projects, from financial forecasting and board deck creation to planning company retreats.Working directly with the three co-founders on a wide range of strategic initiatives.Handling administrative tasks and process improvements to increase company-wide efficiency.Key Requirements3-12 years of experience in a high-growth environment, ideally with a mix of early-stage startup and ops-heavy marketplace (e.g., DoorDash, Uber) exposure.Proven ability to solve hard, ambiguous problems with a high degree of ownership and intelligence.Strong proficiency in SQL and data analytics, with the ability to derive insights and communicate them clearly.Low ego and a willingness to tackle any task, from strategic financial planning to administrative work.A clear, first-principles thinker who avoids buzzwords and industry trends.
