Clinical Support CMA, LPN, EMT or ATC

Clinical Support CMA, LPN or ATC Full-time position available for a Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, Certified Emergency Medical Technician or ATC to work under the direct supervision of an Orthopedic Surgeon. Position requires strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology; strong and effective communication skills; excellent computer skills to be able to work with EMR system. Other duties include, but not limited to, assisting with the treatment of orthopedic injuries; applying and/or removing a variety of casts and splints and removal of sutures, pins and wires; returning patient calls; scheduling surgeries and specialized tests. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required, and must be able to work collaboratively as a team member of the clinic staff to provide high quality treatment and efficient service to patients and clinic. Prior relevant work experience in a medical office, supporting surgeons, physicians or other allied health professionals preferred. Applicant must be a certified or registered MA or EMT, LPN with current Florida license, or Certified Athletic Trainer with current Florida license. This position is located in Tallahassee, FL.
