The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive People and Culture strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and growth goals. This role involves overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, and compliance. The VP will work closely with the Executive Team to ensure a people-first culture that is inclusive and centered on the organization's values. Key priorities for the role include driving innovation, and strategic thinking, and ensuring that all staff have the resources they need to thrive.Candidates for the VP of People and Culture position at the company should be energetic, collaborative, and proactive, with a strong background in HR, preferably in a nonprofit environment. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity, and a deep knowledge of HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, with HR certification strongly preferred. They should be adept at managing a team, have excellent communication skills, and be committed to the mission and goals of the organization. Experience with PEO/HRIS partners is essential, and familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
