Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator - Tile, Stone & Wood

We source high-end materials globally and manage complex logistics to deliver a seamless experience from order to delivery. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent & Logistics Coordinator to manage procurement and logistics operations. This role directly impacts profitability by ensuring high-quality, cost-effective purchasing decisions and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and hands-on experience working within an ERP system— specifically Stone Profits or similar platforms . Key Responsibilities Purchasing Develop and execute cost-effective purchasing strategies Evaluate supplier profiles, pricing, and market conditions Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery Review materials and supplies to ensure they meet company standards Prepare and analyze reports (costs, expenditures, and purchasing performance) Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records in Stone Profits Stay informed on market trends, materials, and supplier developments Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinate shipments from suppliers to warehouse, 3PL, or job sites Track and manage movement of goods from origin to final delivery Organize transportation, storage, and delivery scheduling Execute logistics plans to ensure on-time deliveries Review freight rates and transportation costs to maintain profitability Coordinate with warehouses for efficient receiving and storage Resolve shipping issues, delays, damages, and discrepancies Maintain quality control throughout the logistics process Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain Proven experience negotiating pricing, terms, and vendor agreements Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes Experience in tile, stone, wood, or construction materials preferred Working knowledge of Stone Profits (strongly preferred) or similar ERP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple orders, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously Key Skills Purchasing & Procurement Vendor Negotiation Logistics Coordination Supply Chain Management Cost Analysis & Reporting ERP Systems (Stone Profits) Time Management & Organization Quality Control What We're Looking For Detail-driven professional with strong ownership and accountability Commercial thinker focused on cost control and margin improvement Ability to manage multiple purchase orders, shipments, and vendors simultaneously Team player who collaborates across sales, accounting, and operations Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) 401(k) with 3% company match Company pays 50% of employee health, dental, vision Paid time off Company Description Woman-owned dealer of luxury handmade tile, stone, wood flooring & plumbing fixtures with showrooms in North Palm Beach & Hollywood, FL.
