Job DescriptionFortinet is growing and we are looking to hire Professional Services Engineers to join our team. The dedicated Professional Services consultant is assigned to the end user for the duration of this agreement. He/she will work with the end user to define the specific daily activities.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Professional Services Consultant daily activities include but are not limited to:Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/ supportDevelopment of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updatesDevelopment of test plans and test new features and/or releasesVerifying configurations and implementing best practicesPerforming interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet productsTraining and knowledge transfer to client staffDevelop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologiesResolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashionRequirements7+ Years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administration5+ Years experience with Network Security Products2+ Years experience with Fortinet productsExperience working as a Professional Services Consultant/ Engineer a plusSolid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies such as:Network Security Infrastructure – Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFiSecurity systems – Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application ControlExcellent troubleshooting skillsOutstanding oral communication and presentation skillsExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentConform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesReact to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficientlyFlexible during times of changeAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departmentsAbility to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivityStrong commitment and self-driven individualAble to travel as neededEducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related work related experienceAbout UsFortinet (NASDAQ: FTNT) secures the largest enterprise, service provider, and government organizations around the world.
