What You’ll Do
As the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading shifts by ensuring team members provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly complete their job duties, and follow all brand standards & food safety requirements. This position is charged with assisting to train newly hired team members and monitoring for compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.
Lead the activities of team members on shift.
Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers) and appropriately resolve customer complaints.
Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately process & receive payment from customers, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
Complete with a variety of kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
Maintain a solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
Assist in the training of new team members.
Follow required brand standards, food safety requirements, as well as all company policies and procedures.
Inform plaza leadership of any observations, concerns, or problems that are witnessed or experienced.
Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Do:
The Assistant General Manager helps the General Manager to ensure that day-to-day business operations run smoothly. This position provides an opportunity for entry-level managers to learn important management skills and practice judgment and discretion skills.
Responsible for confidently delivering performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
Ensure the day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assigning specified work, focusing on store level operation performance, coaching, and developing shifts supervisors.
Must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during times of low morale.
Strong Leadership and organizational skills
Addressing issues in a timely fashion
Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
Maintains an awareness of all applicable brand standards and all procedures and protocols to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations.
Ensures that the restaurant always looks clean, inviting, and adheres to brand standards.
Ensures cash management is accurate and processed daily, reports are delivered as per company directives.
Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
