Line Cook
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared efficiently and safely for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
Assist in ingredient preparation to support kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene.
Support in meal preparation.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service.
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within restaurants or the food industry.
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Shift schedule Friday-Sunday 8am-7pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
