Your Opportunity as a Senior Analyst, Logistics Location: New Orleans, LA - SiloWork Arrangements: 100% on-siteWillingness to work off hours and flex to business needs Ability to travel ~4 times per yearReports to: Logistics ManagerIn This Role You WillResponsible for Leading Receiving & Shipping Green Coffee Throughout the New Orleans Supply ChainAnalyze & Prioritize the Green Coffee Transportation from the Wharves, Railroad, and Warehouses to Deliver to SiloLead the Process of Intaking Green Coffee at Local Warehouses and Various Yard LocationsOwner for Key Inbound Logistics Systems and Accountable for Their Results. Identify Root Cause & Countermeasures for Any Gaps in ResultsTrack KPI’s to Monitor the Performance of 3rd Party Service Companies, Drayage Carriers, and Warehouses and Intervene as Necessary to Ensure Green Coffee Availability for Blending NeedsManage WMS System for Local Drayage Carriers to Deliver Green Coffee Within the New Orleans Supply ChainAbility to Independently Perform the Customs Role and Troubleshoot Issues as they ariseDevelopment & Implement Cost Reduction and Work Process Improvement Projects Using Operations Excellence Tools and SystemsImprove and Standardize Systems to Deliver Strong Customer Service Results That Meet or Exceed Business Targets (Supplier 14‑Day Claim, Demurrage/Detention, and Damage Claim)Own and Manage the Damage Claim Process for FOB Green Coffee Purchases.
