Our Radnor location anchors our nationwide network of manufacturing facilities and supports key areas such as quality, innovation, and customer solutions.Job Overview: As a Payroll Manager you will lead payroll operations for a multi-site U.S. manufacturing organization. This role ensures the integrity of payroll operations across the organization, directly impacting pay accuracy, compliance, and financial reporting, spanning hourly, salaried, and union populations governed by collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). This role will work closely with HR (Corporate and Plant) and the Finance teams. The Payroll Manager will lead a team of two and serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership.Key Responsibilities Set clear expectations, hold the team accountable for accuracy and timeliness, and build capability to operate with minimal errors and rework. Set clear goals, delegate effectively, and conduct regular performance feedback and reviewsProcess/oversee multi-cycle (weekly and bi-weekly) payroll for ~1,700 hourly, salaried, and union employees across ~20 locations.Apply pay rules, shift differentials, overtime, and CBA-driven premium pay accurately and on timeManage garnishments, deductions, multi-state tax compliance, and year-end activities (W-2s, ACA reporting)Maintain data integrity across Lyric (ADP) and partner with HR and Operations on all employee pay changesOwn the accuracy and integrity of payroll reporting for Finance and HR, ensuring outputs are reconciled and decision-readyEnsure ongoing compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws (FLSA and state-specific regulations)Support payroll-related audits including union, workers' compensation, and tax auditsServe as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries - resolving issues promptly and professionallyApply sound judgment in navigating complex pay situations, escalating appropriately when neededAnalyze payroll data to identify discrepancies, trends, and risks; develop and implement effective solutions and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance the employee experience through automation or system optimization Lead or participate in system implementations, upgrades, or integrations affecting payroll Skills / Qualifications: 7+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory roleExperience in manufacturing or a similarly complex, multi-entity payroll environmentWorking knowledge of union payroll and CBA interpretationProficiency with ADP payroll systems, ADP Lyric preferred; experience managing multi-state payrollStrong understanding of federal and state wage, hour, and payroll tax regulationsAdvanced Excel skills; exceptional attention to detailExperience with time and attendance systems in a unionized manufacturing environmentOutstanding written and verbal communication, customer service orientation, and critical thinking skillsTotal Rewards:We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic and optional life insuranceShort and longterm disability coverage401(k) plan with company matchTuition assistanceFlexible spending accountsOur Commitment to a Diverse Workforce:FXI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
