Operations & Administrative Support ProfessionalLocation: New York City, Midtown WestSummary:We are a small, premier attorney search firm based in NYC that seeks a full-time operations andadministrative support professional who is very comfortable with technology. This individual will be anintegral part of our company, and will assist our small team of lawyers-turned-recruiters in a highlycollegial and collaborative environment. This individual will report to the President of the company whoalso handles operations and works as a recruiter alongside our other recruiters.Duties:- Using our two subscription recruiting software services on a daily basis- Troubleshooting computer issues regularly- Updating/supplementing our database (one of our subscription recruiting software services) andour other online resources with respect to – among other things – attorneys (e.g.,entering/revising attorney profiles in our database from LinkedIn and other sources), client lawfirms and in-house law departments, attorney job searches, and related information- Putting application submissions through our clients’ online portal systems- Formatting resumes and revising other submission materials- Conducting online research projects- Preparing and following up on invoices- Assisting with payroll- Assisting with bookkeeping- Handling holiday e-card send-outs- Proofreading- Answering phone and routing calls (minimal amount of time)- Other duties, as assignedRequired Concrete Skills:- Excellent IT abilities, including with respect to troubleshooting computer issues- Excellent command of Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Excel- Good typistDesired Concrete Skills:- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plusRequired Soft Skills/Other:- Highly diligent, reliable and trustworthy- Exercises confidentiality and discretion- Resourceful- Very detail-oriented- Well-mannered and pleasant- Maintains a positive attitude- Good interpersonal skills- Self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job; accepts responsibilityfor actions- Strong work ethic- Good judgment- Ability to multitask- Maintains composure while meeting deadlines (even with frequent interruptions)Required Education and Preferred Experience:- B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent degree) from an accredited college or university- Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional services firmCompensation and Benefits; and In-Office Requirement and Hours:- Estimated target base salary: $70,000-80,000, depending upon skills and experience, with bonuspotential- Ability to WFH most days after job familiarity is obtained- Hours of 10am-6pm M-F is ideal, but some schedule flexibility is available*************************This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in the legal profession and/or the attorneyrecruiting field, who wishes to work in a very positive cultural environment and/or who may need towork from home much of the time.
