With supportive, experienced leadership, room to grow, and a culture built on trust, teamwork, and respect, it's a place where your work is appreciated and your career can grow long term.Key responsibilities:Set up and operate a 4-pocket perfect binder (e.g., Horizon BQ-480 Perfect Binder or similar)Load and configure pockets with book blocks or signaturesAdjust clamp, milling, notching, glue application, and cover feeder settingsSet up trim dimensions and verify final book sizeRun jobs according to work orders, ensuring correct sequencing and materialsMonitor machine speed and optimize throughput without sacrificing qualityCoordinate with pressroom and finishing teams for workflow continuityInspect book blocks, glue adhesion, spine quality, and trim accuracyVerify cover alignment, hinge scores, and final product specsRequirements1+ years operating perfect binding equipment, preferably multi-pocket systemsExperience in digital book manufacturing (short to medium runs preferred)Familiarity with integrated workflows (web press ? book block ? binder)Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specsMechanical aptitude for adjustments and troubleshootingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs (book blocks, covers)Standing for extended periodsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentAttention to detail and quality focusStrong communication with pressroom and finishing teamsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple jobsTeam-oriented with a proactive mindsetSelf-starter can work independentlyAs a team member at BR Printers, you'll enjoy:• Comprehensive benefits package including Medical & Dental coverage along with company paid life insurance, voluntary Vision, Life & Disability insurance• 401(k) with Company Match• Paid time off (PTO)• Paid HolidaysLocation:On-site 2100 Ellis Tech Drive.Hebron KY, 41048BR Printers, Inc. is committed to the principles of equal employment.
