Building a direct alternative to Shopify and the legacy commerce stack, they are a Y Combinator-backed startup with $7M in total funding, a team of 10, and over 30,000 users.Role OverviewAs a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will build across the entire stack (both backend and frontend) and own features end-to-end. Working alongside a tight-knit team in San Francisco, you will treat the frontend as a product surface, understand UX and user behavior, ship quickly, and iterate based on real user feedback. Relocation support (including flights to SF) and visa transfers (OPT/H1B) are available.Key Responsibilities• Build features across the backend and frontend stack, taking end-to-end ownership.• Treat the frontend as a product surface by deeply understanding UX and user behavior.• Ship quickly and iterate continuously based on real user feedback.• Collaborate directly with teammates to make strategic product decisions and drive the product forward.• Maintain codebase scalability and participate in system architecture design.Qualifications• 2 to 3 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.• Solid full-stack ability across both backend and frontend development.• Proven track record at companies known for a high engineering bar, with a strong preference for VC-backed startups.• AI fluency as a core skill to scale and automate work.• Background of studying at an excellent university, or having dropped out / founded a venture.• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco with nontraditional startup hours.• Ability to handle visa transfer requirements (if applicable; open to OPT or H1B transfers).
