Dental Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities - Assist the dentist and hygienist in providing high-quality patient care. - Prepare patients for dental procedures by taking vital signs and conducting pre-procedure interviews. - Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols. - Support dental technicians in preparing instruments and equipment for procedures. - Use dental clinic systems, including Eaglesoft, to manage patient records and schedule appointments. - Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist to ensure accurate and efficient treatments. - Operate medical imaging equipment, including X-Ray machines, to capture high-quality images. - Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and preparing patient paperwork. - Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude. - Collaborate with the dental team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and contribute to the growth and success of our clinic. Skills - Experience in general dentistry or a related field. - Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures. - Proficiency with dental clinic systems, including Epic and Eaglesoft. - Familiarity with X-Ray technology and medical imaging principles. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals. - Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control. - Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods. - Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant, or willingness to obtain certification or licensure within a specified timeframe.
