Lead Warehouse Associate

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to immediately fill the role of Lead Warehouse Associate. This is a full-time position. Providing comprehensive food services with a focus on the highest quality and freshest ingredients, impeccable service and total value is the reputation we have earned and live up to everyday.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventorySupport the Warehouse Manager in running the warehouseOversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventoryEnsure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materialsReview records for accuracy and compliance with established proceduresReview shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team membersAssist with inventory countsOrder warehouse supplies when neededAssist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team membersRequirementsMinimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory rolePrevious experience working in a warehouse environmentExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license and good driving recordBenefitsA family culture and atmosphereCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members401(k) with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunitiesWe conduct pre-employment drug testing.
