Accounting Manager

Job Title: Plant Accounting ManagerPart Time 24 hrs. per weekJob Purpose:Oversee financial transactions of the organization, managing accounts payable, assisting with sales tax compliance, and training staff members. Reports to Controller.Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage Accounts Payable (AP) personnel and ownership of US AP processesTroubleshoot issues that arise on a day-to-day basisReview AP aging and vendor statements to ensure items over 60 days are addressedManage AP cash forecasting allowing for rolling 60-day spend expectationManage Avalara software: sales tax reconciliation and filingUtilize IFS ERP software and other programs for all company sitesLead and support the implementation of AP auto-matching tools, ensuring accurate three-way match processes and seamless integration with existing ERP systemsAnalyze and optimize established processesAssist with month end close and annual auditAny additional finance-related duties as requestedRequirements:Bachelor's Degree preferred2-4 years' experience as AP/AR managerIFS ERP experience preferredEffective organization and communication SkillsDetail OrientedSalary depends on experience.
