Our aerospace bearing and seal products consist of rolling element airframe bearings and bearing tooling sold under the Shafer® and Tri-Roller® brand names, Teflon lined polymeric bearings sold under the Tuflite® brand name, slotted entry, split ball and split race bearings sold under the PSI® brand name, self-lubricating machinable lined bearings and coatings sold under the Rexlon® brand name and mechanical seals sold under the Cartriseal® brand name. Gears and electrical components sold under the Micro Precision® brand name. Our global customer base includes all major engine and airframe OEMs, as well as major Tier 1, 2 and 3 suppliers to the engine and airframe OEM’s and through our FAA approved repair stations we support major MRO and aircraft operators with repair and overhaul capabilities.ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the seal team of Production Associates and LeadsMonitor various metrics related to Safety, Productivity, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Take immediate actions as required to ensure goals are metEnsure customers receive high quality products that are delivered on timeDevelop and provide performance feedback to Associates and make various employment related decisions Drive ownership of Safety/Quality/Delivery/Cost to shop floor associates and production managersDemonstrate strategic thinking in regards manufacturing capabilities and capacitySupport lean initiatives that support manufacturing operations – Rexnord Business Systems (RBS)Utilize lean manufacturing tools & principles to reduce lead times, improve delivery and reduce costsUtilize 80/20 tools & principles to reduce lead times, improve delivery and reduce costsDrive employee development and grow cross-functional skill capabilitiesIdentify and lead facility safety improvement initiativesChampion quality initiatives that support manufacturing process improvementsSupport annual capital expenditures process for capacity growth, cost reductions, etc. Lead Total Associate Engagement (TAE)Play a key role in AS9100 QMS support and leadership in the Seal Value StreamLeadership CompetenciesBuilds Effective Teams – Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
