Visit us at www.accenture.com.You Are:The Mainframe Modernization Go to Market role is responsible for enabling sales and Go To Market initiatives for complex client transformation initiatives focused on modernization within legacy mainframe environments. This role drives proactive opportunity origination in collaboration with Client Account Leads, creates awareness of Accenture's mainframe modernization capabilities, and acts as a trusted intermediary between the account teams and the technical advisor for clients undergoing large-scale core system transformation.The Work:* Leads Go to Market and pre-sales and solution conceptualization for mainframe modernization opportunities within the mainframe ecosystem.* Proactively originate and shape modernization opportunities in collaboration with client account teams and market leadership.* Define and communicate mainframe modernization strategies, including re-hosting, re-platforming, refactoring, re-engineering, and hybrid coexistence approaches.* Act as a thought leader on modernization within the mainframe ecosystem, contributing to internal enablement, client workshops, and executive-level discussions.* Collaborate with ecosystem partners (e.g., IBM, modernization tool vendors) to define joint solutions and go-to-market motions.Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.QualificationHere's What You Need:* A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Modernization and integration with the Hybrid Cloud and use of Linux One + Integration with Public Cloud platforms, covering both functional and technical aspects with hands on experience in the Modern Mainframe versions (16 and 17).* A minimum of 5 years pre-sales and solution conceptualization for mainframe modernization opportunities including defining and communicating mainframe modernization strategies, including re-hosting, re-platforming, refactoring, re-engineering, and hybrid coexistence approaches.* A minimum of 5 years previous experience originating and shaping modernization opportunities in collaboration with client account teams and market leadership.* A minimum of 5 years previous experience collaborating with ecosystem partners (e.g., IBM, cloud hyperscalers, modernization tool vendors) to define joint solutions and go-to-market motions.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
