This innovative approach empowers medical practices to deliver unparalleled care to their clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Counsel, Mergers & Acquisitions role located in Boston, Massachusetts (with some travel to NYC). The Counsel will guide various stages of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance and minimizing legal risks. Key responsibilities include conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, overseeing deal structuring, advising on regulatory matters, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Counsel will also play a pivotal role in aligning legal strategies with business objectives and managing external legal counsel when necessary.QualificationsExpertise in Mergers and Acquisitions, including conducting due diligence, deal structuring, and document preparationStrong contract drafting, negotiation, and review skillsExperience in regulatory compliance in health care a plus, corporate governance, and legal risk assessmentProficiency in strategic legal planning and advising on transactional mattersLicensed attorney with a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership5+ years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within the healthcare industry or private equity sectorEffective communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision after 90 days401K Retirement Program with Company MatchProfit Sharing potential after 1 yearPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffPaid Sick Time
