We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job DescriptionBase Pay $24.50 per hour, plus $0.75 per hour shift differential3rd shift Sunday- Thursday 10pm- 6amEmployment Benefits start on day 1On Demand Pay Program (Access your pay when you need it)Weekly PayDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTrim Sheet Associates are responsible for all aspects of trim sheet coil production, including machine operation, material inspection, product packaging, order consolidation, and material handling activities. Trim Sheet associates are expected to work in a safe, productive, and cooperative manner in accordance with Cornerstone Building Brands policies and procedures.Lead by example in performance of all job functions, including demonstration of safe work habits and adherence to established proceduresComplete all tasks as assigned by production department leadershipRead, understand, and follow the steps outlined in SOPs for each task being performedTake prompt corrective action to eliminate safety hazards, minimize equipment downtime, reduce scrap generation, and correct deviations from quality standardsComplete required documentation including production records, quality checks, product labels, and manifest transactions in a complete, legible, and accurate mannerProperly manage all wastes generated, including segregation of recyclable materials and segregation of hazardous wastes by typeTake steps to minimize the amount of waste generatedMaintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safe and efficient operationsQualificationsPrevious manufacturing Lead experience requiredPrevious manufacturing/ machine operator experience requiredGood job history requiredMust be able to read, write and perform basic math skills as job duties requireMust possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendanceMust be quality and safety conscious, a team playerAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistMust have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with peopleExtensive standing, frequent bending, sitting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting and walkingRequired personal protective equipment to use tugger, overhead crane, carts, dollies and some hand toolsSafe work performance is required from each Associate at all timesAdditionally, the proper discharge of safety responsibilities is an integral part of each Associate's performance appraisalAdditional InformationWhy work for Cornerstone Building Brands?Our teams are at the heart of our purpose to positively contribute to the communities where we live, work and play.
