Finishing and Assembly Technician

SummaryThe finishing and assembly technician is responsible for complex assemblies, manual machine processes and handling precision parts with care through the final stages of manufacturing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following while other duties may be assigned.Understand/Follow blueprints and written instructions to perform finishing operations and assembliesCarefully handle parts to maintain integrity while working to perform finishing operationsPerform repetitive tasksOperate equipment: cleaning, abrasive blasting, etc.Assemble complex medical and aerospace components while maintain efficacy checks and test requirementsUse manual machines while adhering to safety instructions and parametersMaintain constant throughput to help achieve monthly metrics and customer delivery datesCommunicate concerns about processes or parts in a timely manner and help determine/troubleshoot solutionsAdhere to all practices, quality system guidelines, and governing body standardsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
