Training Lead - Alpharetta, GA - HybridWe are looking for an enthusiastic Training Lead to educate people using a mix of lecture, demonstration, hands-on exercises, and online resources. A SAFEbuilt Trainer equips and instills our employees with technical skills to administer Building Code enforcement and policy adoption. This role also trains clients, contractors and Design Professionals in Building Code regulations and concepts. We expect this role to assist with developing and deliver course materials while representing SAFEbuilt in a professional, organized, and articulate manner. The right technical trainer will help us develop impactful curriculum using adult learning best practices for live training and on-line medium.Duties And ResponsibilitiesCollaborate to devise technical training programs according to organizational requirementsProduce training schedules and classroom agendaDetermine course content according to objectivesPrepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops, etc. in groups or individuallyArrange for and conduct on-site training when neededKeep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.Support IT Department to resolve system inefficiencies and client issuesForm and maintain positive relationships with Training Personnel and Company Managers. Maintain a professional appearance and imageRecommend procedures and processes to improve course qualityMaintain a professional appearance and imageQualification RequirementsProven experience as technical trainerKnowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjectsStrong foundation in instructional delivery and adult learning principlesExperience in designing technical course contentAbility to address training needs with complete coursesWorking knowledge in MS Office (especially PowerPoint)Dynamic communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesDegree/Certification in a relevant technical fieldCertification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong assetCollaborative and consultative work styleComfortable working with business and technical personnel at all levels of the organization, governmental entities and other clienteleEducation And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum three years of course development experienceSolid understanding of learning and development along with strong business acumenFunctional and technical expertise in learning management systemsCOMPETENCIESPROBLEM SOLVINGIdentifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topicsCUSTOMER SERVICEResponds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitmentsFOSTER OPEN COMMUNICATION/BUILD RELATIONSHIPSCreates an environment in which people communicate honestly and openly, and information is readily shared.
