Sales Consultant (Trucking/Transportation)

Job Description - Sales ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs Be knowledgeable about the product Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems Answer questions about the products Negotiate prices and terms Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships Review customers credit status and collect monies owed. Complete Administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.Qualifications and Education Requirements: · Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 1-2 years of industry related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community. Must provide own transportation, valid Driver's License and current insurance Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Must possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills and social perceptiveness. Ability to work in a team environment and to manage multiple tasks. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and electronic mail proficiency. Goal oriented, focused, and possess the ability to excel with minimal supervision. Self-Motivated to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.  Monthly car allowance and expense reimbursement. Commission program. Major healthcare program, with Dental and Vision. 401K plan with company matching contributions.Company DescriptionGreat Company cultureCompany DescriptionGreat Company culture
