We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to fill a key position on our Operations team, as a Material Handler at our Glenwillow, OH facility. As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for operating a stock picker (cherry picker) and/or a reach truck forklift to move bulk products into staging and/or forward pick locations. In this position, you will be wearing a safety harness and going up to 40 feet in the air while pulling product out of a bulk rack. In this position you will use RF devices to complete inventory movements. What you'll be doing: Safe and proficient operation of material handling equipment (primarily a stock picker/cherry picker) Consistently going up to 40 feet in the air while wearing a harness to pick product out of a rack Utilizing RF devices to pull inventory and replenish pick faces Inspecting products as they are pulled to ensure quality and accuracy Reporting and documenting any damaged product not suitable for shipping Staging products for our club assembly line Notifying supervisors of any mechanical or material issues Utilizing safety equipment and observing all safety rules and practices Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area Other duties as assigned Who you are: Candidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer. At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or distribution center Experience with RF devices Experience working in a fast-paced production driven environment High school diploma or equivalent Attention to detail Ability to work a flexible schedule Ability to lift heavy objects, 50+ pounds Wine industry experience is a plus Able to work weekends and overtime as needed Reliable transportation Why WineDirect?
