OPEN & PROMOTIONAL JOB OPPORTUNITY - - - Maintenance Worker I/ II - Streets. The City of Concord is currently seeking to fill one Maintenance Worker vacancy in the Public Works Department. This recruitment is to fill current and future vacancies in the Streets Division. The Maintenance Worker I and Maintenance Worker II classifications are part of a Flexibly Staffed Classification Series. Initial placement in either classification will be dependent upon qualifications. What you will be doing:Streets Maintenance Workers participate in the maintenance and repair of the City's streets, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, storm drains, creeks, drainage channels, signs and markings, depending on assignment, to make Concord a city of the highest quality. We are looking for someone who:Has knowledge of and experience in streets maintenance and paving-related work.
